What is SummitDesk?
SummitDesk is the profit and closing layer above the DMS for car people.
It helps a dealership desk structure a live deal, show a cleaner quote, look at F&I opportunities, appraise a trade, and see where gross is won or lost before the deal is booked into the store's system of record. A personal workspace is the closer's scoreboard and book — not a second desk.
What it is not
- Not a DMS replacement. The DMS remains the system of record.
- Not a tax, legal, lender, or OEM system of record.
- Not a second opinion on a payment the desk already produced. Product help explains the product; it does not recompute your deal.
Who it is for
- Dealer teams — shared store settings, one desk workflow, manager visibility, F&I presentation, pipeline, and performance.
- Solo sales and F&I people — a personal workspace to quote, follow up, and present professionally without waiting for the store to rip out its DMS.
The live tools
- Structure — dealer workspace only. Desk cash, retail, lease, and one-pay when the store plan allows those deal types. Not available in a personal workspace.
- TrackLine — working / sold / lost pipeline. Solo users see the same page labeled My Deals.
- SummitValue — trade appraisal with market comps.
- Performix — performance review.
- Pulse — the home screen after you sign in. Dealer and solo homes are different on purpose.
- SummitIQ — ask about your numbers (pace, gross, stuck deals). Not the same as product help.
- Inventory and Recon are not shipped yet. Do not expect them in a live store.
Estimates use configured dealer (or typical solo) assumptions. Final terms still have to clear lender, OEM, and store rules.
